Outdated Kitchen Redesign Without Demo

A 1990s kitchen re-envisioned with a modern Scandi palette using Redesign mode.

Case narrative

The kitchen still had honey-oak cabinets, speckled laminate counters, and fluorescent lighting that made every meal photo look dated. The owner wanted to see what a modern refresh could look like before committing to a real renovation budget. Using Miraliq's Redesign mode with a Scandinavian direction, the AI rebuilt the cabinetry as flat-panel matte white, swapped the counters for a soft veined quartz, and replaced the fluorescent tube with a pair of matte black pendant lights over the island. The existing layout — sink, range, and fridge triangle — was preserved as a reference, but the materials and lighting moved the room forward by two decades. The owner used the generated image to brief a contractor and landed a realistic quote within 15% of the AI concept.
